Cadastral survey is the survey discipline that specialises in the establishment and re-establishment of real property boundaries. It is an important component of the legal creation of properties. Cadastral survey is required for the purpose of or in connection with the registration of any land title or of any assurance or instrument affecting or purporting to affect the title to land. Certified Plans are produced for individual Lots. Certified Plans are legal documents describing the extent and location of the lots. Title deeds are extracted from the Certified Plans and will be issued to individual owners.
